Okay, here we go again with an oh sooo deli event. My December ended with a treat from OpenRice and Mr. Jones. So what happened during the night?

My camera failed me so just allow me to share photos from Raintree source.

One ride away from Guadalupe, you will find Mr. Jones' resto @ Phase 2, Greenbelt 5 Ayala Center, Makati City. Before dinner, we were greeted warmly by Chef Kalel Chan, the corporate chef of Raintree Restaurants i.e. MoMo Cafe, Chelsea Market & Cafe, Museum Cafe, and our featured dine in - Mr Jones.

The menu:

We were served with a great number of scrumptious meals. To start with, we got:

  • "Green Goddess" Cobb Salad - consists of grilled chicken, crispy bacon, toasted almonds, fresh tomato, fresh parmesan, whole baby romaine & homemade caesar dressing.                  Price: P450/sharing

  • "Truffled Disco", Beef Gravy & Cheese Fries - topped with chunky beef smothered with wild mushroom gravy and "fondue" cheese drizzled with truffle oil. Price: P395/sharing

  • A "Wet" California Big Burrito Platter - topped with melted cheddar & jack cheese, loaded with carnitas, black beans, mexican rice, salsa fresca, olives & sourcream served with black beans, mexican rice & tortilla chips. Price: P395/sharing

  • Wicked Truffled Mac n' Cheese - baked with 3 types of macaroni (rigatoni, penne and elbow), 4 cheeses, "canadian style" double smoked bacon baby portobello mushrooms & green peas drizzled with truffle oil. Price: P395/sharing

  • Sizzlin' Butter Seafood "Foil Broil" - prawns, mussles, clams & dory wrapped in a foil pouch, fresh lemon & parsley, served with grilled sourdough. Price: P420/sharing

  • Warm Baked Brownie & a Blondie...So Good! - served warm with 1 scoop of montecado & 1 scoop of chocolate ice cream. Price: P350/sharing

As refreshments, I picked Tropical Fruit Punch worth P125. I felt a bit sad because I wasn't able to get even a single shot on all the foodies but I am more than happy to say that we left Mr. Jones with tummies full and satisfied taste buds.
