It's summer already. The sun is brightly shining its majestic rays producing scorching effects inside and outside the body. One of the most sought-after Filipino meriendas is the Halo-halo. I'm sure you are all familiar with this sweet, icy, stuffed foodie I'm talking about.
You can buy or make your own halo-halo but I would suggest trying Floring's Halo-halo. The restaurant is found at the corner of 31st Street and 4th avenue in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
It's a bit costly but believe me, your Php80 is "sulit" compared to your street version of the snack. All the ingredients are present. What made it very special is the cheese. Yes, it has cheese in it. It enhanced the flavors and gave the halo-halo a very pleasant taste.
