If we Manileños love lugaw and our city is filled with Lugawan stalls in every corner, Cebu is different. You won't find a single lugawan here.

Well, I see people sell them but not like in the city where we have a carinderia type that also offer lumpia, egg, tokwa, mami, lomi, and the likes. Here in Cebu, aside from lechon, people really are into 'sinugba' [transalated] inihaw or ihaw-ihaw. I mean in every street I see stops of barbecue houses. One of which is my latest find, the AA BBQ.

Deemed to be Cebu's iconic dining place for the best barbeque dishes, they serve grilled pork belly, grilled seafood and delectable char-broiled chicken dishes.
Together with the other church members, I was invited to have a night out and enjoy a taste of AA's delicacies:

The sinfully juicy and mouthwatering barbecue. The taste, unlike your ordinary kanto barbecue, AA's give you a sweet and moist meat.

Shrimps cooked in a sweet and spicy sauce. This one is the bomb! Ako ata ang umubos ng last piece sa plate.LOL! You can cook this one at the comfort of your home. Just buy Jufran sweet and spicy/chili sauce, then add a bit of ketchup, cornstarch, and top it up with onions.

Like Chicboy house, AA did not forget to offer this sauteed kangkong or camote tops. The crispy garlic really gave out that bitter-y, delicious flavor.

For soup lovers, this clam soup or halaan is a heaven.
These are just some of what was served. I bet they have more.
