It has been quite a while since I let a burger patty touch my throat. Why? I had a bad experience years ago with a burger chain. It was my first time to order a burger steak. When I took the first bite on their patty, oh my! I took a tissue and you know what happened next. Yes. I didn't finish the meal. The patty tasted raw. "So, that's what burgers taste like!" I then told myself I'll never eat burgers again.
This week, I found myself standing in front of another burger resto - the Big Better Burgers. You may ask what am I doing here? Well, I was asking myself the same question too.
No turning back. Here we go. I looked at the menu and found out that there are other meals I can order. Yay! :D
But my mind and tummy was daring me to take a burger challenge. what??!
Okay, I was overpowered by two body parts and placed an order - the Double Dare with Cheese Premium Burger. Price: P186. I chose this thinking that the cheese will somehow overpower the taste of the patty.
Double daring, I braced myself as I took the first bite. I closed my eyes and slightly chew on the meaty beef. A little later and the taste came altogether. My buds savoured the smoked to perfection, freshly grilled, 1/3 pound premium beef patties. I took another bite, then another, until there's nothing left.
Should I say more? :D
When Mr. Chiqui Teotico (BBB VP-Operations) sat beside me, I told him, "Sir, napakain n'yo ako ng burger!" :)
For real, Big Better Burgers will never let your tastebuds down. :)
